All 24 Pesula laundrettes operate on a self-service basis. That means you can do your washing and drying when it suits you. Our laundrettes are quick and easy to use and clear instructions are always provided. We want to make our service as flexible as possible for you, so there’s no need to book a slot in advance. If a machine’s free, it’s yours! The display shows how long your programme will take.
We offer regular washing machines and specialist rug washing machines. To check that you’ve put the right amount of washing in the machine, place your hand inside the drum. If you can just fit your hand in above the washing, it’s perfect.
All our programmes are 30 minutes. The price includes laundry detergent that’s both gentle and effective. It is automatically dispensed by the machine. You can use your own stain remover if you like. It’s a good idea to apply it directly to any stains and soiled areas at home to give it time to soak in. We don’t add anything else to our washes.
All our programmes include a high speed spin cycle, which means that your items will dry quicker and are easier to manage too. Effectively removing excess water from the washing saves both time and energy. Just 30 minutes in the tumble dryer is enough. For rugs, we offer specialist lockable hanging dryers.
We find that rugs that are cleaned using one of our flatbed rug cleaners are immediately ready for use. Find out more about our flatbed rug cleaners.
Prices are clearly displayed and every machine has its own ID code for payment purposes (e.g. M1). Making a payment is quick and simpl. Always remember to use the ID code for the washing machine you’ve chosen. When your payment has been accepted, the machine will start automatically.
All items are washed at your own risk. We recommend that you follow the manufacturer’s care instructions. Information on the most common laundry symbols is available online, including at siivous.info.

With our faster-spin washing machines, your items will be ready in half an hour! Hypoallergenic unscented laundry detergent is included in all our washes. It’s dispensed automatically by the machine. You can use our machines to wash clothes, down duvets and pillows, sheets, curtains and larger items such as bedspreads and mattress toppers. There’s no need to book in advance – if a machine’s free, it’s all yours!
TOP TIP! Apply your stain remover at home to give it time to soak in properly.
Soft, machine washable, double-sided rugs
With our specialist rug washing machines, you can have your rugs clean in 30 minutes. The machine’s powerful spin cycle means that your clean rugs are easy to hang up to dry.
Programmes: 30 °C, 40 °C and a delicate cycle at 30°C. All cycles take 30 minutes.
Hypoallergenic unscented laundry detergent is included in all our washes. The detergent is dispensed automatically by the machine. Our machines boast spin speeds that are equivalent to approx. 1000 rpm, but they are much more powerful than standard domestic washing machines. All our machines also offer a delicate wash programme with a more gentle spin cycle.
We recommend you hoover your rug thoroughly before washing. If needed, add some stain remover to any stains or particularly badly soiled areas. Unroll the rug before placing it in the machine to allow it to spin freely. When the cycle has finished, you can use one of the drying lockers to dry your rug.
TOP TIP! If you plan to store your rug, always make sure it’s clean first

At 24 Pesula, you can also dry all your washing so it’s ready for use as soon as you get home.

Answer: The detergent we use is allergy tested and unscented. Find out more about our detergent here.
You should always make sure you can fit your hand between the top of your washing and the washing machine drum. If you’re washing products containing down, you should leave more room and only fill about half of the drum. More information on capacity is available here.
